When you write " I bought PP's for $37k" and then go to mention all the things that were wrong with it, the implication is that you bought it from PP in that condition, hence the clarification.

 

I would say that any GT/4 purchased for $37,000 in the last 10 years would hardly be a paragon of mechanical integrity.
