    I'm pretty far down the spec madness rabbit hole, needing some help :) Has anyone been able to order a roof in a different color? Lots of chats on it, but can't seem to find someone who's done it.

    Thinking about doing something similar to this white 812 with the exterior, different interior (pics to follow)

    Opinions on a contrasting roof on the GTS?
    I've never done blue carbon before, any thoughts (interior and exterior)?
    And lastly, does anyone have a guess on the roof color?
    Hoping to get through this without the added "torture" of going through Tailor Made LOL!

    Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode, the one about rental cars, they can take the reservation...



    (dealers taking orders) but without a matching factory allocation...it's just an order in waiting

    but, maybe I misunderstand, has the factory recently let out new 812GTS allocations? That would be great news...

    100% agree. Without an allocation “no soup for you”. Ferrari second quarter release focused on record orders. If they have no plans to fill all those orders and miss earnings they can plan on a shareholder lawsuit. My guess they will fill the orders plus nothing else is filling the V12 line

    I do have to say the dark roof on that GTS is angled to make the GTS look slimmer at the rear of the roof similar to the 812CA. Not bad if you can get it

    As far as I know you can only have the top part of the roof a different colour even with TM, I have been trying to get the roof and the buttress black to match, also I been trying to get the lettering on the buttress if I can't have them black.

    It is way to difficult to get an answer from the factory, at the moment it is August holidays in Italy, so its worse than normal !

    Before August one person at the factory said yes to the lettering, but at the moment my dealer cannot get a clear answer to colour / details of lettering !!

    I don't want to go down the wrap route.

    That dealership must be out of slots. Curious, do you currently have a V12 in the garage? I forget.

    We ran into the same thing (no answer), and it has come up a bunch on this site w the same conclusion, uncertain : ) I'm doing the buttress and lettering similar to the red example, only in white and roof in Blue Le Mans.

    They are told to take orders but the chance of fulfillment is very low. They should be telling customers this.

    I got notified 2 weeks ago of my allocation. However this was a long standing request.

    So I guess there a cue??

    I believe it’s the cue. I know in ca, at least northern, unless you are on the list already or can trunk someone that is…then you are out. They still babe allocations to fill when they come in but they have more than enough on the list to finish up. Kind of like the pista s…I was in near the end and said I wish I had ordered one and they said…well, if you want one that can probably happen. I have a pretty good history w my dealer so I may have been able to jump the line. Ended up not pushing and still kind of bummed I didn’t.

    Congrats to both of you…u will not be disappointed

    Thanks! And that is, to a tee, how mine played out. Got the last Pista allocation from my dealer, and I had been trying for an allocation on the GTS for some time, and just got the call w the green light.
