I miss my 6263 black dial and still plan to replace it with the cream panda dial one of these days. But prices are still crazy for good ones. Can you float me a loan!?
If you want a full on exotic dial 6241, Jacek just listed this piece. Big number but a great looking piece (even with a few blemishes). https://tropicalwatch.com/watches/etac If you have any interest, I am happy to introduce you to him. He is a solid guy and a solid seller.
Another vintage Seamaster today; however this one is probably the most precious watch I own because it was my dad’s. He bought it at the PX in the Philippines in 1965. It is also one of only 3000 watches that uses the rare 560 caliber movement.
I wear this watch every year on my birthday, this year a day ahead, I’ve written the story about it here a few times. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/145538062/ Today? My childhood Timex from the mid 1960’s. . Image Unavailable, Please Login
That is an awesome story and it’s really cool that you still have it. I have custody most of the watches worn by the previous generations of men in my family (those who wore watches). I have my grandfather’s Gruen from the 50’s, a Tag Heuer Kirium from my Father in law ( he left his Rolex to his son, rightfully so) and my dads Omega. I plan on leaving them all to my son along with any I have acquired.
It doesnt have to be expensive for me to enjoy Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
