While in pix I agree abt the stripe but I saw the silver car at Ferrari in NYC this week and it's STUNNING...the bar looks cool....not to worry. The silver color is outstanding as well. What a show stopper this thing is.
I don't like the CF bar going across the stripe. Looks like a cross and too much going on which is usual with this design team. In the rear, would like to see a proper stripe extend down the back instead of stopping short at back of the hatch lid. Would better fit the character of the car. Only a few F12 tdfs have it and they look great.
Does anybody know if: There is a central rear "window", howsoever small, in the 812 Competizione Aperta? If so, is the window operable (i.e., it can be lowered) like in modern convertible Ferraris, including the 812 GTS? I hope the answer to both is "yes". A lowerable rear windows makes a huge positive difference to how much aural drama you can hear in the cabin. In fact, with the top off (or down), most cars do not sound as good in the cockpit as one might think because the wind de-amplifies and filters out the noise.
as far as I remember not…..unluckily not sure, I am getting old, but I didn’t see any switch as in GTS for example and I agree with you that driving the GTS roof up and rear glass lowered is a unique experience!! IMHO…..I can’t stop to drive mine )

I love it! Very different from the impression of a TDF which has more classic, seductive lines. Needless to say, I would absolutely love to add an 812C to my stable (of course, I’d spec it in Bianco Italia with livery stripes). I wish! It looks really aggressive!! First time I notice these red small lines behind the front wheel: Image Unavailable, Please Login What could it be?
