    My first flight was in my lounge. The second from my roof. You won't crash as long as you fly line of sight. Flying using the phone as your view takes some recalibration. I do lots of flying from my roof!

    Practice, practice, practice. Also, watch lots of YouTube videos on drone flying.

    No one complains because they don't know where I am! OLIO

    I think people would get upset if you hovered over their place and they thought you were spying. I don't do that.

    Thanks Pete, when you mention flying using phone I assume you mean watching the screen on the controller? I assume yours has auto return to take off position? No doubt you researched a lot before buying, was the DJI your obvious choice or you considered others?

    Yes using the screen is disorienting. Flying line of sight first then via the screen second made me much better at it.

    I think they all have auto return. I'm really happy with dji. Their after sales service has been extraordinarily good. I'm sure you'll do your own research. I was disappointed that I couldn't plan a route on this model (so to speak) but I'm over that.

    Yes i popped my cherry with this drone. It's easy really. Lots to learn so a bit overwhelming.....but eventually you learn all the hidden tricks with the software that helps with navigation and filming. The flying bit is easy. Watch YouTube!

    As Moretts says in answer,there's pretty well zero point in changing carbies to triples,webers or SU's unless you've prettywell done the full engine rebuild including balance,printed max head work and full exhaust...THEN they go like a shower of shoit!
