My first thought was that it might have been Rennie's when I saw the pics. I'm a fan of the combo too!
Well you're correct but I'd be looking at a 250SWB and I'd be in the same boat! Just goes to show what a WOFTAM buying lotto tickets is!
Its like seeing an ex g/f with another bloke or if I was Carl, Its like seeing an ex lady boy with another bloke.
I actually spoke to the current owner at a recent Highball Cars and Coffee event- gee that car got bounced around before it reached its current owner, including some litigation. And I could see not much changed externally sinced Carl and I worked on that car. Note that the RHS indicator has a missing srew and is loose.
Well, just over a year after I sold it, it landed at Duttons on a part exchange for a 550, sold through their wholesale division (so it never went on their showroom floor), went back up to Queensland, got involved in some sort of litigation, ended up at a Queensland Ferrari dealer, where the current owner purchased it.
Well the US bit the lousy part. Argento is what Fioravanti had on his 308, I think it's lovely on all his designs.
100% agree with sentiment. Does anyone remember the Sterling cigarette commerial with the silver 308 GTS they showed in the cinema before the main feature?
Yes I do. I have not been able to find it though. There is this however, with another argento Fioravanti effort @ 18s
