Just saw it posted on the 'Racer' site.
Sad news. I, like most I'd guess, felt there was more in the tank. What a great character!
    RIP

A true gentleman of the racing media business.

On my entry into CART, Robin Miller was introduced to me through Mike Levitt at the 1997 Homestead
“Spring Training” sessions. My work had gained some notice at the time working with the Alumax/Bettenhausen
Team and he offered his assistance with anything I may need.

He was the beat writer with the Indianapolis Star News at the time and I took him up on his
offer a couple of times, always accessible, always with the right answers. Robin Miller was a walking
encyclopedia of racing knowledge, always with a smile and a joke.

    I will never forget him.

    Another legend has passed.

What?? I was just reading about him 5 minutes ago and his induction into the Motorsports Hall of Fame. I was a big fan, particularly since he was very vocal about how Tony George / IRL damaged open wheel racing. He will be missed - RIP!

As knowledgeable as they, get, I never knew he himself raced.

The autosport.com website has a great tribute.

RIP in racing heaven with all the past greats.

One of the greats of all time. Journalist? Yes. Personality? yes. Honest? Yes. Loved by all? Well....maybe after a while! What a loss...........
    I am truly saddened.

Among the many things I remember Robin for was discussing the museum at IMS and its entry fee as " the best $5 you'll ever spend". I agree.

    RIP Robin

Knew his stuff and no nonsense, he was a breath of fresh air for the sport and became the fan’s insider. Loved his interview with DSG among the many. Deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

Not particularly. Very rarely offered any news of value. Had a high opinion of his own opinion.

I liked him a lot. I grew up reading his Indianapolis Star articles as a 10 year old getting into racing. What a personality. IndyCar will definitely miss him. Most anyway…

As you should. Just one man's opinion. He simply wasn't my cup of tea.
