One of the dumbest ideas I've seen on here. The current safety car is fine and the cars must follow the safety car and it's pace, not the other way around. Despite how much you hear Lewis and Max crying while being in first place.

I cant help thinking we have to thank Jules Bianchi and his litigious family for this.

Today's fiasco only confirmed my personal belief that modern F1s should have enclosed wheels to avoid the massive spray in case of adverse weather conditions like today.

F1 wants to stick to open wheel configuration in the best monoposto tradition, I know, but that doesn't fit with large tyres and massive power.
When the track is wet, each car lifts hundred of litres of water per second, with the spray completely blinding the followers like heavy fog would do.
Reduced visibility increases the risk of accident, it's as simple as that.
It seems that the penny hasn't dropped in high places at the FIA yet.

Race director Michael Masi, the idiot who ruined today's race, hopefully will meet some angry guy in a dark alley this night.

    Don't care.

Today was a day of utter infamy for F1. These idiots brought that upon themselves. Shame on all of them. They ruined the sport.

No. NO race no points. Qualy IS NOT A RACE ever. Thats a further insult to give the FIA and LIberty that option. No race, no podium, no points, no glory, no gloating, no press nothing. They did not earn it today. They got wet. WAaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. The 3 on the podium should have refused. Utter trashing of the word 'sport'.

I don't want to hear another negative word about NASCAR from the oh-so-elite F1 fans. This was disgraceful.

A cancelled race with the event shown to have made an honest attempt to run, they can write an exclusion for those who had a penalty in the cancelled event so that it is accounted for and not imposed at the next race. Tooooooooo E Z.

Be honest, it wasn't so different from some of the processions. And certainly not surprising considering the rest of the nonsense, acronyms, etc.

    Remember the grid g*rls ...

You have unique skill. I only wish I could nap after 5 cups of coffee and a cigar. But rest assured I will attempt to match your day's work, just in a different sequence.

I will NEVER fault them to losing their son to this 'sport', and taking a course of action available under the law allowable. They would most certainly prefer the son be alive. Poor comment. Very poor. In their position you are so sure you would not do the same??????????? I am not.

Whilst I wish we had a GP I think F1 won as a whole today.
No drivers were hurt, the right decision was made even if that meant money lost.
Quite a change from the Bernie era… I Rmbr 94 when senna died…no way this gp should have restarted but Bernie wanted the money.

And I was stupid enough to believe the grotesque Michelin debacle at Indianapolis 2005 couldn't be topped: Massi did it!
