Thinking of selling my GTS... Took delivery in April and love the car, but at 6' 4", the cabin just too tight. Much different than my prior 812 likely related to hard top stowage. What do you think its worth? MSRP was 479,500 and has about 1200 miles..... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Most are asking at least 100k over but even up to 200k depending on the color, spec etc... Since you took delivery in April, you'll have to wait till Oct for your 6 month period unless you're not interested in future F car ownership. GLWS
Depending on where you got the car, they ask you to keep the car for a minimum of 18 months. It depends on what you signed when you put your order in. But yes, it appears to be going for at least 100k over MSRP at the point.
Sounds like this doc has a great deal going! How would Ferrari even know he sold it until the next owner (probably in another state) brings it in for the yearly free maintenance?
correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t believe the 6 month rule (or 18 month or whatever was agreed upon with the dealer) applies if you return the car to the dealership where it was bought. They will sell it on consignment for whatever it’s worth at the time (hopefully a profit!), without any penalty from Ferrari
In my experience, under 6 months is frowned upon by Ferrari and can be a detriment to future allocations. Obviously, it all goes by your relationship with the dealer and how much they value you.
This post scares me. I am 6’6” and recently ordered a GTS. I currently have an 812 that feels cavernous compared to my other cars. I knew the GTS would be a little tighter, but I still expected to be able to fit. I do know that racing seats make a pretty substantial difference. That might be the margin between the car working for you, and not working for you.
All depends on your body build Long legs and short torso maybe not as much of an issue as the leg room is the same between SF and GTS. The GTS seats however do not recline as much as the SF so longer torso may be an issue. The racing seats help in that regard as you sit lower in the car. Ask your dealer to call you when they have a GTS in for pick up or service for you to sit in and check the fit Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Think of it like recreational boating, chances are you’ll only be going out on nice days with the top down. If you get caught in a pop up rainstorm you might be squished temporarily with the top up. I may have mine just before April and you can drive mine if so.
Well where do you live? Perhaps a GTS owner on FerrariChat lives close enough to do a good deed and drop by for a quick visit!? Or Ferrari Club in your area has an event coming up and a GTS owner? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Ok you GTSers out there- anyone close enough to Charlotte for a drive by for a fellow Ferraristi? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Have you considered placing another order for a GTS with CF seats? Leaves you with quite a bit more room. Trade what you have in for another one with seats that gives more headroom. Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I am in the sf/Bay Area. If you end up out for a reason let me know. And I like the advice on sunny days. Hey, if magnum can do it u can too .
