UK 3,929 is pretty good considering the price the standard book is selling for now.
Love to see a photo or two of the final presentation.

So that’s GBP10,000.- in the secondary market. At least!

Great stuff, and I see the tip of a Russell Brockbank cartoon print peaking out from under the Bertone photo.

I was wondering, is the owner of the Millechioti required to pay £4,100 for a copy (since that engine was apparently bored larger) or does he get it for free as the car was sold by Kidston?

Must be more like £41,000.- since one-offs are exponentially more expensive than regulars.

How does the Jota Edition compare with the
    "regular" version?

I haven’t read it yet, I believe it’s much the same information but a lot more bespoke in the materials used. It really is a work of art! I sold my original Miura book, wish I hadn’t, but this will be a keeper now.

My copy of the Jota edition arrived a couple of days ago. I have not had a chance to really dig into it yet, however, it looks extremely nice. Having said that, I would say that the initial visual impact of the book and case is a bit short of that of the trilogy of books from Nathan Beehl and Ronald Stern. The tactile and aromatic appeal of the leather binding on those three (done by Legatoria D'Arte Giovanni Codina in Milan) is truly spectacular.

It looks wonderful, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it a lot. I find the price a bit too rich despite the leather and goodies. For that kind of money a register should be included, but even then.

It’s a lot of money, however when you look at the ‘standard’ run of 762, and what they’re trading for, and the hours of research and knowledge that has gone into this book, Kidston deserve a slice of that!

Interesting to see the value of the Jota edition compared to the standard edition in years to come.

That will be interesting to see. Palawan Press has said that their standard editions appreciate more than the full leather counterparts. The advantage of the Jota edition that it has a bit of extra content compared to the standard edition i.e. the forward by Dallara and Simon’s experience tracking down the Shah of Iran’s Miura.

Does anyone know if all 75 Jota editions are sold out?

I agree, I think you'll find that's the case with most standard versus deluxe additions. The standards increase more in relative price to the deluxe.
Having said that the Jota edition looks beautiful.
