Been doing some reading on the estimated value of 360 Modena manual cars (Not interested in spiders in the least). Seems $115K-$125K is the best range I could come up with. That's averaging for condition and mileage. With how crazy some vehicle prices are right now, that seems like a good deal.
Beautiful Spider on BaT now: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2002-ferrari-360-spider-22/ This car looks very clean. Some of the recent 360s haven't been in the best condition, but this one looks like a winner. /
Nice color combo, but 25k miles, I’m guessing 135-145k, we’ll see. A few on the market sub 10k miles at 170-180k ask and I know of a 4K mint coupe at 210k, just not sure of confirmed sales other than the auctions. Gated 355s pulling strong numbers recently also. It’s all about the low production high horsepower gated naturally aspirated analog experience. There is NO soul in an EV future, just boring point to point travel.
Bingo! No challenge grill. The dash leather needed to be addressed. The sticky buttons not fully addressed. /
Best auction result yet, 155k with the BAT fee, what’s your guess for a mint 9k gated 04 red/tan spider?
All things gated that are in very good condition are being scooped up, even 6 speed R8s getting huge $$$
Super happy I decided to trade in my amg 507 Edition coupe for my gated 360 summer of 2018…..,, Pretty sure the gated f car is doing better than the aging merc. I’m certain the 360 will provide the garage bling provenance Of her older brothers…. Just be patient.
eBay seller possibly setting the market; super nice Red/tan 1400 miles, asking 229k Item # 133871685051
Love my gated 360. yellow with black 22k mi. Steering is near perfect. Fast enough and you can really use the power. These deserve to climb in value. It’s a great car, durable and much easier to service than 355!!!
I recall not too long ago f1 360’s going for 60-65k……. And gated cars going for 65-75k…. we are past the bottom of the dep curve boys!
The market will decide the pecking order and price level. The only thing I know for certain is that things are not today where we thought they were a few months ago. I never thought a 355 was a $160,000 car and I never thought a 360 was >$200,000 car. I hear that physical assets are once again in demand perhaps due to an inflated stock market. Time will sort that out too! A little appreciation is a good thing in my mind! On the other hand, if it gets ridiculous, I might become afraid to drive it as much as I would like to.
Now that 430’s are getting closer to 20 yr old cars.., the idea that they are newer and req less upkeep will diminish.., and people will buy the personal preference…. also starting to see 430 water pumps and ex issues cropping up…. So reliability differences start to wash out after 20+ yrs old. lots of love for both btw!
No belt service on 430 but I see your point. The appreciation in the overall market this past year has been impressive, but the last 4 months with 360s are unbelievable. I think my car is very similar in spec to the one sold yesterday (Coupe vs. Spider, 28k miles, black on black, Daytonas, shields, Challenge grille, 6MT). I'm upping insurance coverage limits - a nice problem to have.
You would think they would bother to buff out the paint for that price...swirls everywhere in the clearcoat. /
Just watched the Netflix Schumacher, extremely well done, found this grainy video of him tossing a 360 around, priceless! Sorry if I’m a little off topic, FWIW I saw a BAT 360 go for 134k ish with the fee, maybe the colors held it back? I like the combo, well bought I think.
He makes it look so easy. Wonder if he had the same thoughts as Montoya about it with regards to handling
If you really want to consider the opinion of handling from a guy that can't steer clear of a huge truck on a huge track under caution.
