Isnt that more expensive than a Tour Auto entry fee?
Good evening to everyone, Do you have any news about the 2020 Cavalcade Classiche? I have found that it will take place in the Dolomites but I cannot find more information. Thank you in advance
See post #76 here: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/cavalcade-classic-2018-sardinia.585006/page-4#post-146955237 HOWEVER: I think it is highly doubtful that it will take place. Right now the factory is still closed and I don't think that such an event will have high priority in the next couple weeks and months. Marcel Massini
The factory sent a message saying that it is not canceled yet but I agree with Marcel, there will most probably higher priorities in the weeks/months to come.
Email received this morning: Dear John, I hope you and your family are well and keeping safe. Since our previous communication, Ferrari has kept closely monitoring the evolution of the Covid-19 situation in connection with the national and international health authorities. It is with deep regret that we have decided to postpone this year's edition of the Cavalcade Classiche and On the Way Tour in the Dolomites to September 2021. During this difficult period our primary goal has always been protecting the health and safety of our employees, clients and partners as well as working to create the most enjoyable occasion for our Ferraristi to drive their Ferrari Classiche in a safe environment and in the spirit of an unforgettable event. In this context the current restrictions have affected our ability to advance key elements in the organization and preventing our team to finalize the itinerary. For as much as we would have all enjoyed to meet together, we feel a postponement is necessary to ensure we can deliver on an unforgettable experience for you. The Cavalcade Team will shortly be in contact with you to inform you of the new dates for next year, in the meantime they remain at your disposal for any further information and you can contact them at [email protected]. I trust your understanding and I thank you for your continuous enthusiasm and support. I really look forward to our next memorable Ferrari Cavalcade Classiche together. Warm Regards, Enrico Galliera Chief Marketing & Commercial Officer Ferrari S.p.A

Nice route and cars, but mouth caps IN the car?? Just finished the TA and was quite gentle and easy with the covid regulations. Ciao Oscar
Bad crash between a yellow SF90 and a Jeep during the Cavalcade on Sunday. Marcel Massini https://www.98zero.com/1439658-incidente-stradale-coinvolte-una-ferrari-e-una-jeep-intervenuti-ambulanza-e-vigili-del-fuoco
In the Tour Auto was also a delegation of Ferrari dealers with clients. Can’t judge the situation with the SF90 but the 488’s in France drove like complete idiots. After overtaking my 275 with almost hitting me a mother stopped us 10 minutes later that her young son was almost killed by the F12 tdf (striping)…..the fear was in her eyes. New Ferraris and events are not a good combination. Thanx for the info Marcel, Ciao Oscar
Looks like they changed the age requirement. Unfortunate. Does this event ever happen outside of Europe? Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
It is TWO Cavalcades, please read post #38. One for the classic Ferraris (35 cars) and the other one at the same time, also in Sicily, for the modern cars. Different routes and schedules. Same week, same location (Taormina, Sicily), different hotels. Marcel Massini
This event is put on by Canossa, one of our sister companies at Motorsport Network. Canossa now owns Cavallino and starting to produce events in the United States too. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/news/canossas-spectacular-fall-rally-of-new-england-returns-this-year.2416/
Canossa is a very respectful company that has a pedigree in motorsports and rallying. This year I joined their Cento Ore that was beyond amazing! They know what is motor sport and what people want. Besides this I think it is very difficult to organise rally's for modern Ferraris as not the organisation but the drivers get white smoke in their eyes and all think they are Schumacher (or perhaps now Max Verstappen...). Ciao Oscar
