They were not a week ago when I purchased a copy. Maybe now but no promotion.

I was told there are a "handful" of copies left.

Thank you very much for sharing your great pictures! I ordered no #32 and can't wait to get it. I just registered here to get a glimpse at the book.

Unfortunately, my copy #32 hasn't been shipped, yet, but is said to be under way next week. And I will issue a prayer that this time German customs authorities will be friendlier and more co-operative (and swift) than they have been in recent months.

Hurrah, my Jota Edition (actually #38) just arrived. As I didn't receive any prior notice of its shipment or any information from FedEx, the delivery this evening came as a huge surprise.

    Absolutely outstanding edition.

If you set up accounts with FedEx, UPS, and DHL on their websites you can get automated email and/or text notifications whenever a package is shipped to your address. Having said that, perhaps the "surprise" is better?

Been there, done that. Random results. They all are mostly lackadaisical about their service.
They abandon packages at wrong addresses, and are for the most part, 2nd rate.

USPS is not much better at that. Amazon? Mostly pathetic. Bunch of slovenly and lazy delivery jockeys.
They left an Ipad in the street(!!!) under my mailbox with a picture of it on my email, there, on a hyper busy road.
Guess what? Gone. Fortunately, Amazon refunded the charge.

Unfortunately, they are all the same, and no substitutes available.

    Regards, Alberto

Wonder if the Lamborghini Book dumped in the water in Kidston’s Portofino video was ever recovered? ;)

Well since they are all numbered I'd have guessed it was a pre production copy but it's funny looking back at the cost of the book now, it's the equivalent of crashing a Miura for an opening scene of a movie. :) :) :)

I think Simon mentioned on an Instagram post that someone had asked to buy it!
    Not at all surprising, really.

Non Destructive crack testing in the water :)
Probably Fedex. I would have said Amazon, but not involved...

Sadly, so very true. They are all tossers to varying degrees. As near as I can tell, from best to worst, it would be FedEx Express (not FedEx Ground), UPS, DHL, and, the worst of the worst, USPS. USPS is a black hole; they don't even appear to try. For a while I had a letter carrier who used to drive around, joint quite literally in hand, getting stoned out of what was left of his mind while delivering the mail.

Yes, surely it will be recovered - and sold as a barn find in 10 years ;-)

Someone will do a book on it to prove it is THE book thrown into the sea, and to market it for sale.

I purchased number 27. I’d be interested to know whether these were allocated in order, or randomly. Does anyone know if they’re sold out yet? I’ll be keeping mine but would be good to see if any are advertised/auctioned off on the second hand market.

Yep, see my post from Sept. 9. It came without notice as a great suprise. Almost the same with the GTO 64 leather edition. Yesterday, I got the news that it will be delivered tomorrow. Splendid. Who needs tracking when all books are delivered safely and in time ;-)

Did you order from the Publisher in the UK? If so, any duties and taxes in Germany?

Just noticed the GTO 64 leather edition is printed by the same people as the Jota, 30 miles away from my house. I have just placed an order!! What do you think of it?
