    Hi Marcel, are you sure? See my post #442; yes, it wears the Dutch registration plate of 3911 GT, but this is a different car; see air scoops in front, external fuel cap, etc.
    I anyone can check this car, please let je know!

    Thank you Marcel.
    When I saw the 250 MM on Monday in Paris, I thought it was 0298MM, but I was surprised by its much shorter nose !!
    Indeed, it is 0254 MM !! Here is a pic taken at Grand Palais "Ephemere".

    In addition to the already mentionned 250 SWB, 2439GT was also present at Grand Palais, but did not start the Tour Auto (...as their Cobra Daytona).

    The race number 543 on the door refers to the 1953 Mille Miglia where 0254 MM was raced by Count Paolo Marzotto and Capitano Marino Marini. Of note is also the 3rd wiper on the roof.
    The extended nose is on 0298 MM and unique to that car only.

    The car finished the race. 30th position in Competition VHC ranking. Not bad after such a terrible start in the first stage ! But it seems that there was very vicious gravels at the end of a straight line. The winner of last year, Raphael Favaro, with an E-Type, didn't get out of this first stage ! He is the first on the list of retirements.

    Marcel, car #60 is a real SWB with a not matching number but period engine. Very nice guy (Corrado) and driving a SWB in the Tour at 85 with your daughter is quite extraordinary.
    Car #31 a fake but owner try to tell it is original. In Paris the fakes were marked with a C on the info plate in front and the owners of the fakes removed these info plates.....

    Oscar which of the THREE (3!) 250 GT SWB Berlinettas currently using the identity of #1791 GT (one using race #60 in the Tour Auto) is the REAL one in your opinion?
    I say fake.
    Corrado's has a GTE engine, just FYI.

    hi Marcel, Well you are the expert, but as a 84 year old man I hardly can imagine you would lie. Anyway, one of the reasons I am not interested in a 250 SWB as the first question always be: “is it a real one?” ….purtroppo that also occurs with my 308…..
