Making the change in a few weeks, as I find myself preferring the Huracan Evo RWD, so this removes much of the coupe-on-coupe competition.

Not just a case of newest in is better..... these are my honest thoughts and feelings comparing the outgoing F8 Tributo and Evo, after 2x Ferrari's in a year:

    - Theatre, sound, emotion, the Evo wins hands down. Its crazy vocal, which really does elevate so many drive characteristics, just because you're already smiling :)

    - Performance, the F8 is hard to touch and even though the Evo would get the initial drop, due to its incredible NA engine response, it wouldn't see which way the F8 went after that. I'll caveat this by saying 'in my hands', as it relates to how I drive on twisty narrow roads, where I don't over commit, where maybe some would.

    - Ride, bumpy-road mode wins, as it takes the edge off Race, where the Evo in Sport/Corsa mode is rather firm.

    - Interior design, they both have their charm.

    - Exterior look, again they both have their charm. Evo is a lot narrower and lower, so has slightly more of a supercar look IMO.

    - Infotainment and tech, Evo by many many miles.

    - Driver aids and handling, you just know the F8 is keeping a watchful eye on proceedings, as its always that 1/2 step ahead of you, fine tuning and filtering any crude inputs. Consequently, it puts its power down much better and stays more composed. Meanwhile, the Evo is squirming and you're much more aware of the P-Zero v tarmac battle thats happening every time you squeeze the loud pedal.

    - Build/reliability, at this point I would say Evo. It can live off-charger for weeks and does have a lot of Audi-clunk influence.

    - Other stuff, the Evo user manual is helpful and logical, it also fits in the wallet provided. Lambo have done a lot of work on branding, so the charger comes in a neat Lambo bag. All in all, Lambo are doing a better job at the small stuff feel good stuff.

Anyway, this is leaving, Rosso Fuoco over Nero, with lots of special Rosso interior touches:

And this is coming, don't know the exterior colour , over Sabbia:

Live shots to follow, when it arrives at the dealer!

Looking forward to some drives with the back window down in winter, before spring and some open top fun :D

I currently have them both. The EVO is my daily driver and my F8 is the weekend whip.

The Lamborghini just feels less "fragile" to me and that's why I drive it more. The Ferrari has some work to do to catch the German made Italian designed Huracan.

    I love them both.

I have a feeling the Spider will be better than the comparative Spyder.

Sold my huracan for a huracan spyder…then sold that for my new to me 458 spider. Really happy so far with the change but the small lambos were a blast…very solid cars

keep us updated on what you think after you take delivery and put on some miles

About to sell my Huracan Performante ready for delivery of my F8.

Both completely different cars and great in their own rights.

F8 wins hands down for everyday usability which is why I decided to change.

I find a big part of real world usability is down to spec - colour, seats etc.....

Having said that, even my sleeper spec matte grigio titans doesn't exactly blend in with the traffic.
