A can of mandarin oranges (in syrup), six Snow White habaneros, cumin, and cardamom. Having learned my lesson the night before, just the smallest amount of salt and replaced vinegar with lime juice. Over low heat, stirring occasionally, to thicken up. Had it with leftover grilled chicken thighs. T

Very very cool. Love seeing kitchen ware that's got a story behind it. I still have a knife that my grandmother gave me when I moved away from NYC about 35 years ago. Instead of $$$, she gave me a kitchen knife, utensils, dishes and such. Only the knife remains. I think she was afraid I'd starve to death without her to cook for me! She also said that since modern girls don't know how to cook, if I learned, I could nab myself a good wife! As usual, grandma was right on! T

Made Swedish meatballs last night. Pretty tasty with some riced cauliflower. Made a Costco run on Saturday so had chicken and salad pretty much all weekend.

I don't know what I'm having yet. Its my moms birthday tomorrow, so we are taking her out for dinner. Not sure what she is going to pick. Maybe Japanese. Maybe fish and chips, maybe The Keg like last year. So I don't want to get Japanese or fish and chips to have it again tomorrow. Might do Five Guys.
