    By the way the 275 is not a GTB/C, but a GTB/6C.

I am pretty sure the 275 GTS is #7771.

The GTO Replica is #3629. One of the DK cars.

Been a while since someone posted on here so how about this one. The registration seems to be linked to 8179 a RHD 6C Alloy version originally in Rosso Chiaro, sold to South Africa and returned to the UK in the late 80's. The photo is from a Ferrari meeting in the early 90's before the car later turned up at a Brooks auction in Switzerland in 2000 back in red (it didn't sell). So is it 8179 which was once silver or was the registration on another 275 .....

I cannot be sure about the identity of the car although I am certain someone here can provide all the details. There is still a 275 in the UK with this registration and the DVLA say that it is red.

Could the picture have been taken at Cottesbrooke Hall in 1994?

The bridge in the background does make me think it was Cottesbrooke Hall, and the timeline is right as I was in the PHR version of the FOC around that time and went to the main meetings and some of the track days. Just unearthed some photos from one of the track days at Donnington Park I will post some of those once I have them scanned.

The red one was sold by Tom Hartley jnr not too long ago but it didn't have much detail on the history of the car. The car is in the 4th Edition of the FOC Register (1998).

I am sure it is #8179. The door mirror has to be the giveaway. Can't find a better picture than this right now. Goodwood Revival 2009.

Any clue? USA somewhere? It is a US model Dino and that looks like a Stars and Stripes flying in the background.

Yes, the side repeaters / flag give it away. Still nice old pic.

The only help I can offer is that my car was originally ordered from Ian Anthony (sales)Ltd,
    41A,King Street,
    Knutsford,
    Cheshire
The order was cancelled and Brandon Motors Ltd,
    Rugby Rd.,
    Brandon,
    Coventry
then had the car for sale in 1977

They were definitely Official Ferrari Dealers. Not sure from when to when. Will try and find out.

    Hi all,

I have been fascinated by this thread, there are some amazing pictures here bringing back lots of fabulous memories.

So I thought I'd have a go at finding my very early Ferrari pictures from the loft and scan them in. Both have taken ages and this picture is one of the earliest taken by me.

Supposedly this is one of the 'Magnificent 7', I saw it in Windsor in a dealership in the summer of 1985, when fuel was £1.88 a gallon. Camera technique is somewhat iffy, I got better though!

The guy in the dealer assured me it was a real right hand drive factory built car. Maybe someone on here can confirm? Unfortunately I don't even remember who the dealer was!

I have more if they're of interest; I often post on Instagram, you'll find me as jdd308 there.

    John

John, yes that is one of the original seven. It is chassis number 15917 and was for sale at David Duff & Co around that time.

That's splendid, thank you so much Mark for confirming! I guess David Duff & Co was the dealer in Windsor.

Is the car still in the UK? Or even still on that reg number?
