Is that a snorkel on the roof? This definitely looks P4-ish (mirror positioning, shape of the tail) but the bump on the roof confuses me a bit Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
No snorkel on the roof, just traditional Ferrari way of camouflaging cars. They did the same with the first SF90 Stradale mule.
I think so too…assuming the rumours on the spec are true…Finally a carbon fibre chassis with a V12 and no batteries which means less weight…who cares if it is the fastest 0-200…it will be the most exciting to drive and one to keep forever. Hopefully it is as beautiful as the Monza SP1/2 and we’ll have an instant classic Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat

I don't think we'll have to wait until November for the first photos. Apparently the vehicle has already been presented to exclusive customers. It was the same with the Monza SP1/2 in September 2018. The first official photos appeared a few days after this presentation. The two Monzas were then presented to the public at the Finali Mondiali in Mugello.
On the Ferrari 330 P4, the shape between the front fenders and the front hood is extreme. This was a racing sports car that was not street legal. With the new Icona, this will certainly not be so extreme, because they need a little space for luggage (and perhaps removable roof halves). By the way, the car in the picture is the Ferrari 412P, which is based on the Ferrari 330 P3 from 1966.
i know... i think this icona will be same as monza sp which is inspired by the barchettas of the 60s like monza, testarossa etc, etc , this time it's p series like 330p4 plus 412p
Just saw the recent additions to this thread. It’s been under the radar for me but sounds very exciting: mid-engine V12 car inspired by 330 P4–wow! The LaF link seems confirmed with the first pics: definitely gullwing doors. Windshield will be very wraparound—in the tradition of the Enzo and LaF, but bigger—and big, unless there’s break for the separate quarter window.
Exactly, the design will not only be inspired by the 330 P4, but by several cars from this old P-series...
I don’t believe any clients have seen the car yet. My dealer has not seen it and several SP1/2 owners I know (who would be eligible to buy it) have not seen it either… Perhaps I am wrong but I think the car has not been shown yet. Do you know anyone who has seen it? Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
Just rumors from another forum (autopareri.com). But they did the same procedure with the Monza SP1/SP2 in 2018. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Look at my quick sketch: It seems that the new car has very noticeable aerodynamic parts and does not look as soft as the Monza Sp1/2. Ingegnere and Isot now must do their job! Image Unavailable, Please Login
