    If yes, I want (& will try) to come and drive/enjoy those routes someday with my Roadster or something similar, preferably pre-war.

    there are a couple exceptions for people who have attended most years and people "in-between" Ferraris. there really isn't room to accept new entrants, but when they do Ferrari only.

    So similarly "loose" interpretation of participation rules like in CC1000, for which, if I've understood correctly, the cut-off year is supposed to be 1960, yet 250 GTOs or Shelby Cobras have been noted in attendance.
    Obviously these practices will help to keep acceptance/attendance by newbies down.
