F8 Oh boy oh boy, it's finally here! Yellow on yellow with a pinch of tricolor sprinkled in! F8 Spider.

Congratulations! I am not a loud interior kinda guy. Call me old, beige or boring (beige reference has nothing to do with the actual color). I like elegant neutral interior with some striking accents to become the center of attraction and break the bored/beigeness of the interior. Although my favorite color for cars is white (@plastique999 can attest to that) ; I do also love bold exterior colors, such as yellow and others. I am not sure because of the lighting but by any chance is this GTS (GIallo Triplo Strato)?

With this said, I must agree that in some weird way, it works. It is indeed one of the boldest specs I have seen that actually works. We have all seen bold specs that make us cringe and/or kind of wonder if the owners were stuck in the 60's with an LSD trip or they were just pushing Maranello's limit to see how much of a clown car they would allow. Yours is not that, and "for that, we thank you".

So again congratulations, great job and may you enjoy in good health. Blessings to you and the family.

TY GT2! I’ll take that as a big compliment! I’ve yet to see this car in direct sunlight, so all pics of it thus far have been taken on a gloomy day which doesn’t show it off well.
However, you are correct, it is Giallo Triplo Strato! Other things hard to spot from these pics are diamond cut wheels, titanium lugs, and all exterior carbon minus one - the side air/radiator vent.

That color does something to me. There are few like that. I know because I have a Bianco Italia. I recently saw a Pista with GTS in the sun and boy does that thing have layers upon layers of colors with the lighting and angles. I love Ferrari TLP. They do have the best contrasts, colors and shades.

 

Is that the standard giallo on the outside or is the camera changing it a bit ? It is sure striking inside.

Hm…The window sticker doesn’t show the info. I think it ran out of space and just lumped those options into a large category called Other Options. I’ll see if I can dig up anymore in the paperwork.

. Thx Mike! It is not regular yellow. It’s Giallo Striplo Strato which is very dynamic and shows differently depending on Sun angle and light VS cloudy overcast.

 

That is a fantastic spec and car too! Absolutely agree with you about Ferrari’s 3 layer paints. They are magical!
