    To my eyes, this version, obviously an earlier iteration to the blue one, is noticeably stubbier and higher where the c pillar meets the trunk. Awesome images of the design evolution of this shape.

    In the blue version the front is almost final, but wheelbase is too short (making the car stubby) and the rear is less elegant compared to the final design.
    Nevertheless these studies are interesing.

    Pietro at work. Looks like a 456 drawing on the table! The 456 was his first project and he would have been 32-33 years old. Love the boom box.
