F8 Order Status

my f8 tributo is there also waiting anxiously

 

How long did you guys wait for the third picture after the second picture?
My F8 Spider is status 85 since more than a week but I only have two pictures of the build process so far.
First picture: Sep, 14
Second picture: Sep, 17
Status 85: Sep, 20

 

What status were you in on Sep, 14th?

 

Unfortunately I don’t know. My dealer didn’t give me continuous updates.

The final picture was beginning of July

 

@Senna1994: Do you know what status your car is? 70? 85? 90?

 

My Dealer told me on September 15 the car was completed status 70 and should get on the boat first week of October. Will check the status again early next week.

Does someone know until when are we able to make changes to our car specs?

My dealer sent my selected car configuration specs last week but told me the actual car assembly would begin in the following weeks.

 

Just found out, I'm at status 40. No pictures yet.

I have been status 40 for a week now and I also don’t have any pics yet. So you are not alone.

 

I called my local dealer today to discuss ordering a F8 and trading my 488GTB and how the process would work.

I was told I have to pay them $20k to order the car which is totally non-refundable… that turned me off. Not that I would cancel the order but when the sales guy told me it would be a 24 month wait at least.

I’m turned off, deflated as I was hoping we could work something out.

 

24 Months? I don't think F will still be manufacturing F8's in 24 months.

Find a different dealer. I walked in off the street, put down $10k and ordered mine. First time Ferrari buyer.

 

Deposit refundable; until order accepted 10R but many states have different laws that make deposit refundable up to delivery.

Either way your dealer is playing games.

Fort Lauderdale Ferrari is doing 15 months for the Spider and 6 to 8 months for the coupe. 20k deposit refundable until such time that car is ordered. I cancelled in lieu of my Pista and received a full refund.

 

That’s what they quoted me. I bantered back of course… the negotiator sales guy in me came out but he wasn’t budging … it’s msrp which I get but $20k paid up front, papers signed that it’s not refundable at anytime…it’s like a payment to be allowed to order the car. Pfff… I’m out not playing stupid games with Ferrari.

 

I bought my 2019 488 (used) from Ft Lauderdale Ferrari….they were good.

 

they won’t be making F8’s at that point. This sounds like dealer BS as a way to basically say Don’t Bother without actually saying it.

 

Thank would not surprise me. I did ask about the 296 coming out and they said they do not have any info on when orders start and when the car would be hitting the USA. I lasted about if Ferrari would be doing a dealer tour with the 296 and he said nothing has been scheduled or announced yet. I mentioned I read the f8gtb orders are ending but he said no they are not ending and that’s not been announced. Maybe the f8gtb will carry on into 2022 with ordering?

 

I understand that new F8 orders are no longer going to be accepted after this month
