The fact is, Lewis Hamilton is the most successful driver in F1 history and most popular driver in Fchat history. The rest is just opinions and talking points.

Moron: “I'm so sad right now - look at my nephew." The camera then cuts to the child in this (fabulous) costume and Lewis asks “Why are you wearing a princess dress? Is this what you got for Christmas? Why did you ask for this for Christmas? Boys don’t wear Christmas dresses.”

Who wanted respect for this idiot?

Well firstly was the post was directed at you? one could assume so as obviously I have touched a nerve.

However my retort was a like for like comment, and as such it appears it was understood.

One would imagine the intelligentsia on here liked or not, would not call a very highly successful F1 driver a moron.

Which leads to me to question why you do not object to purile posts like : Elton sucks ect, and folk who like such purile posts (see post 2571), or do you think that contributes to a healthy debate.

Anyway thank you for highlighting my post, your advice has been noted.

It's impossible to declare best driver. You will get 100 different answers. But only one fact that Hamilton is the most successful driver.

Say what you want..he once again had a great drive today. Maybe he was right to be angry. He is the guy in the car. Telemetry can only tell you so much. Team Benz blew his chance at a podium today..not Lewis. That said I'm not a fan of him personally, but I cannot knock his talent.

Time after time, LH just wants to have fun. He's a dancing , a material , a thorn in our side.
Like a prayer, here comes the rain again. Sweet dreams are made of this, LH is dancing in the rain.

Bottas: Haha, yeah. The winner takes it all !!!

Fury: Walking in Vegas, Lancashire, la, la, la!

Bottas had the cruise control on. Verstapin didn't really challenge at all. Team orders I suppose. Team Redbull sat on this one betting on a Hamilton 3rd. Well it turned out better then they figured.

Mercs and F calculated failure today. The post race justifications are another reminder what F1 has become.

Lewis refused to pit when the time was optimal. He was losing a second a lap and didn't want to box. He was fighting with Perez at the time and would almost certainly have finished ahead of him had he boxed as well. He stayed out and everyone around him kept lapping faster. In the end he was forced to pit as the tyres would be unlikely to have made it. Resulting in zero points.

    Lewis messed up here.

My prediction is that by the time of season finale finishes, the final points gap between the 2021 WDC and runner up will end up exceeding the four-point delta reflected in LH’s 5th place result today vs. the 3rd place he might’ve garnered had he pitted exactly when his team instructed him to.
