Awful. Surely it won’t be able to go far being such a limited car.

My bet is Russia or SE Europe.

A car with that much tech to disable though? Doesn't it have various things to triangulate it?

Any further details on how stolen, given the immobiliser etc? Perhaps a key grab (devices available on internet)?

It’s probably been repainted, VIN changed and is in Russia or China as part of an oligarch’s collector’s warehouse never to be seen in the west again, sadly.

I'd be curious as to how public he is on the internet, surely there was plenty of casing done. Clearly this was no smash and grab - two highly limited cars stolen from the same owner. Why couldn't they have stolen a Lamborghini!!!

But how easy is it to do those things without Ferrari noticing? You put it on a charger and Ferrari will get an alarm. Doubt it can be repainted and the VIN changed without Ferrari noticing.

I don't understand, how would Ferrari be noticing all that? Or getting an alarm??

Yeah Im not sure Im following either... It's definitely possible to keep it hidden from Ferrari, as long as the maintenance is not done with them. And no, Ferrari doesnt know when you plug your car to the battery tender:)

That‘s an internal system to my knowledge. Owner of the stolen car told me so. That‘s all I know.

I take it it did not come with a tracker?
All UK Ferraris come with a tracker as standard.

Curious. If insured for value vs replacement cost how would insurance handle that risk ?
