Just sold on BAT. Not bad for 31k miles, mixed brand tires front and rear, a broken shock actuator, leaking power steering hose, sitcky parts, and a few other things. Spiders definitely on the move.

I found the perfect S2000 for you. If you’re lucky, you might even get it for less than $60k ;).

Exactly what I was thinking. What motivated someone to bring over a Euro 355 in 2004?

I think you can federalize them if under 25 years?

If it was a rare spec or something I'd understand...but yeah bit odd with that one.

You almost had me... If it were LHD, I would make a serious inquiry. Beautiful spec.

I don't usually post RHD cars here unless they're cool specs. I watch the UK market too though sometimes LHD cars show up there.

OK, this is the real Ferrari Challenge. Which will sell for more, a 95 manual spider with 72k miles or a 98 Berlinetta F1 with 24k miles? Place you bets before the spider auction ends.

    Berlinetta F1 wins

last week I drove my Berlinetta F1 up the NC mountain and then two days later drove my 328 GTB down the mountain. I personally missed the F1 transmission on the way down. Two different cars, but tranny to tranny, the F1 was more enjoyable.

Maybe a better battle if the Spider didn't have 72k mi on it?

Well, yea. But the idea is does the positive of a manual with the negatives of high mileage and topless (if you think topless is a negative) out weight the positives of a roof and lower miles with the negative of an F1. I believe the last F1 "B" that sold on BAT had 28k miles and went for $55k. Of course it was YY (Yucky Yellow) so 2 negatives. ;) Last spiders that sold went for $83k and $89.5k (bid) with lower miles. So will be interesting to see what 72k miles does to the bids, just for fun.

In that case, I'd say the F1 will have a better result. Premium Red/tan, "low" miles. And it seems less F1's are flooding the market than Spiders as of late.

There’s also the hope that if the owner is patient and waits a year or so they’ll be able to obtain the parts to convert to gated.

The Spider will never gain the structural rigidity or beauty of the Berlinetta.

Yes. All 97's are gated. F1 is 98/99.
