The bank angles in the first clip seem pretty extreme to me.......was that 'normal'?

Thought this pic is cool. 1963 Cessna 185 Skywagon (2-GDDC, formerly C-GHEP and N5425E). Photo from filming of the new 007 movie No Time to Die. Usually I see these painted, but looks way nicer in metal.

I'd love to have been a fly on the wall in the meeting where they proposed building a B-29 lift into the tarmac to load the X-1 under it.

    My version.
I always thought that they used a B-29 but that is a B-50 in the photo.

Thanks, everyone. In the process of divesting all of my stuff, a collector grabbed the work tissue of that painting and commented that it was as much a work of art as the painting and worth quite a bit to him. I have now learned that I have thrown away sketches that I could have realized some compensation. Rightly so because there is a lot of hard work in them prior to transferring the lines to make the painting. I have found that some of them were worth more now than the selling price years ago of the finished work. Live and learn, I guess. Anyway, the important thing is that it is all enjoyed.

Bob- You would not believe what Jim Dietz charges for his pencil sketches for paintings.

Common for college campus's to wait for students to make paths then add the sidewalk. Looks like you determined the path of the oil and then added a black stripe:D
