British Classic car dealer and journalist; Simon Kidston. Probably one of the 'press' cars with the L5 prefix.

Maybe Pirelli Sottozero for that blue SF90?
There are a number of different tire brands but the Ferrari FF and later the Lusso are more likely driver choices for utilizing snow tires!

day355, I would like to call you to the stand. Autocar weighed the Stradale at 1696 kilos. You were adamant that it would be 1886.; that 6 in the end always cracked me up. Will you now admit you were wrong?

It was obviously a Ferrari 'ringer'. Just ask Chris Harris... :D

Obviously... Ferrari managed to engineer a lighter car and then decided to put the weight on for customer cars. Elementary, my dear Watson.

I will have to give day355 credit for that 6 though. He found that one.

During corner balancing and suspension adjustments the scale showed 1.804 kilos.

Car is equipped with AF package, diamond cut wheels (not carbon), HiFi sound system (my guess 3 - 5 kilos more due to additional amp, speakers and cables), normal carpet, racing seats.

Car was delivered on Bridgestone run flat brick stones (mandatory here when no spare wheel fits) which are quite heavy compared to Cup 2 tires. Tank was around 80% and normal things like tire fit compressor was in the trunk.

Thank you very much for your honesty.
The SF 90 without the Fiorano pack was weighed at the factory at 1886 kg with all fluids and the full tank of gasoline.
    Special dedication to Realzeuz :D

The problem my friend is that you are cornered now and just won't admit that you were wrong. Did Ferrari give Autocar a magical SF90 that weighs 1696 kilos? I must admit I was surprised myself, I thought around 1750 would be more realistic.

That's quite a difference compared to the test car.

Roughly in line with the figure in this post:

    https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/147862988/

1670 KGs, by the shipper. No AF, no gas but with fluids, JBL Hi-fi sound system, leather interiors and lifter.

PS: Not sure about the equipment on the Autocar's test car, though.

I don't mind that you don't trust what I'm saying, but when it is Mr Floppi, an owner whom I do not know who quotes you the figure he has in front of you, how can you dispute it ???

Most figures are a lot lighter than that. So, it could be a number of factors at play.

Most figures lol. You’ve compiled weight figures from “most” SF90 owners. You suffer from more bias than almost anyone here.

Motortrend weighed the car, with carbon wheels at 1750 kg. So a non AF car should be low 1800 kg and a AF car without carbon wheels somewhere in the 1750-1800 kg range.

From my understanding the Spider adds 100 kg so we’re talking 4000 pounds +. Yikes.

Performance is mega though, there’s no denying that.

Your estimates about how much a car in a different configurations weighs are just that; estimates. All we know for sure are the weights of the cars that have been weighed. We would need to know their fuel levels too though.

These pictures were taken on a recent roadtrip to Spain and Portugal. This is Salamanca and my friend’s lovely yellow SF90. The SF90 is a great car for a blast around Spain!

    Have you driven it?

If you think the SF90 isn't super amazing to drive or you think it lacks performance due to its weight you must be driving the Starship Enterprise in which case I do understand your conundrum.
