    Been a while since I had a Diplomaticos. Slightly stiff draw had me worried at the beginning but lots of rich smoke more than compensated.

    Lit up a Fuente yesterday at a car show. Nice to walk around and enjoy a good stick.

    Dug down low again and pulled this one out. Don't remember buying it but it's not bad so far. I thought it was a Cain Daytona when I pulled it out but it's a Nicarao. Who knows. Wanted something different. Not bad so far, little spicy at the start.

    Hate to see it. Some EU countries have done the same. Outrageous appropriation of a rich history and branding all in the name of ‘protecting’ citizens (last time I checked I was of age and quite capable of making my own decisions in life).

    All I can suggest is investing in some accessories (a humidor, silver cigar case and leather holder, a tasteful ashtray, lighter can bring some of the joy back) at least once you get them home.

    Ok, I don't get it but that's prolly half the point.

    Somehow I’ve made it to this stage in my life without ever watching The Godfather. Set aside time last weekend for Part I. Enjoyed it so much that Part II was enjoyed this evening in the company of a Montecristo Open Eagle specially selected for that purpose. A big smoke, but hey it’s a long movie.

    Another day in paradise. 85* and no cloud in sight.
    Fired up my Roadster earlier today after couple of months of engine overhauling.
    Then, after initial cam/lifter break-in, etc. drove her around a bit, had lunch and now, sitting in rocking chair, sipping some 12 y.o. Glendronach with a CAO Zocalo and admiring the old girl…

    … coming up on our 32nd anniversary at the end of next month.
