Dave, I’ll take your lead today and post a vintage no-date Sub. All original and unpolished.

Picked this up last week from someone we both know.

I think it depends on lifestyle and obviously the Apple ecosystem. I’m already hitched to Apple’s ecosystem, but as a fairly active person, it’s just too practical for me not to use it. I have the hourly weather complication, Apple Pay, quick access to a timer/activity app for workouts/kids/reminders, and I can choose to glance at texts (respond/ignore) without having to chase down my phone, gauging how much sunlight is left if I want to get to the park before dark, not to mention the occasional walkie-talkie use. I guess I use it all!

Yep. I’m with you; I think a GMT on a jubilee is perfect. A Sub needs to be on an oyster.

For my Rolexes, The Pepsi then my DJ with jubillee are 1 and 2. I like tight bracelets and they still are comfortable. The oyster looks good, its just not as comfy as the jubillee.

Prior to giving this, AD ask me if jubillee is fine on my pepsi, yes please!

    Miss my gated 360.

Love the ND Sub. I wish they make white gold ND Subs, that would put the sub into a new level in the heirarchy.

'Cannot seem to take a good photo so here is a stock photo of my Blue James Cameron Rolex DeepSea Sea Dweller, current version. It is only good to 13,000 feet (3,900m) under water, but will have to do:

I alternate with these other two watches. I feel Breitling is the best bang for the buck as far as watches go. Super Avenger 48mm and Super Ocean 46mm. I do not take the Avenger diving even though it is good to 300m but the other watches are solid diving watches. The Rolex above is 44mm:

Currently on hand is the BIG Super Avenger.

PS: If you need a time adjust or cleaning the turn around time for Breitling USA is the best, about a week.

PPS: High end Rolex watches are like trying to buy a Ferrari. If you are not a good customer you will not be able to buy a new one. You will have to look into the used market and they cost more than the list price of the new watches.

Does anybody have a Luminor Due? I've always loved them, particularly in gold, but haven't heard much fanfare about them.

I looked at getting a steel one as I like the smaller size (by Panerai standards) but the Due gets a lot of crap from Paneristi because it has a snapback caseback. I'm not sure if they've upgraded them since but that put me off since resale was going to suffer.

The size is what appeals to me too. Didn't realize it was the Cellini of the Panerai portfolio! Thanks for the insight, Eddie.

Thanks. I was going to part a few times with her. But couldn’t. I have her for 12 years now and have made some great memories.

We have been a customers since 2012 when I got my first Daytona which I sold 3 years ago.We have bought watches and jewelry in the past.
It was a dumb move to sell it. It was a black dial too so I wanted a black dial again.

I really did not ask about it this year until last week when I got my Pepsi. I did not ask before since I dont think Ill get one. This after 2 datejust, 2 submariners and 2 GMTs. Im waiting for my DayDate.
