Pretty incredible to think that speaking up against legitimate hatred towards towards another human being would be so controversial. Disliking Lewis is one thing - There are a hundred perfectly valid and understandable reasons to cheer for someone else. Thats not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the people who despise him. If I get banned for what I said, that says more about FChat than it does about me.
I have met him. My Mercedes dealer organised a meet and greet for AMG owners back when I had my AMG GT. This was before the Singapore GP in 2017. I found him aloof and perfunctory bordering on unfriendly. Maybe I caught him at a bad time but it seemed the only member of the crowd he really seemed to go out of his way to be friendly with was a young kid. And I don't think that was for sentimental reasons - my impression was that he did it for PR value. Valterri was an amazing guy in comparison. We spent quite a lot of time chatting and he even posed for a picture of us together, where he put his arm around me. Very cool. I'm not sharing that as I value my privacy. I don't think I qualify as a hater, I respect Lewis for his immense talent and driving record. But I don't think of him as a pleasant person and I do have an actual encounter to base this off. That’s totally respectable and understandable… I met MS and he was a ****** too, Kobe Bryant same thing… but as you said maybe it was just bad days or just us [emoji38] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Wait, is the "legitimate hatred" what you have towards people that don't like hamilton or is others hating hamilton "legitimate hatred?" Is "legitimate hatred" like "righteous anger" ? Only Three posts to your name, but you seem angry.
Italkart56 banned for 2 weeks for attacking the forum (post deleted). Very much on the fringe of perm ban considering the low post count.
I've noticed you've brought up meeting MS a couple of times, though my friends had a fantastic experience with him stuck at a small airport when he was on the way to testing at Fiorano. I once sat next to Bill Murray at New Year's in a restaurant and he went out of his way to be unfriendly even though I didn't want anything to do with him anyway and had to be told who this person throwing stroppy fits was But I'm sure thousands of people will say how lovely he is to meet. Can't recall which singer said this but he made a very good point - be kind to your fans because even though you won't remember the occasion in 10 years time, for the fan it will be something they'll remember for the rest of their life. So make it special. It's not just us Best, Sammy
Jean Todt was super nice with us though, michael not so much [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Come come now.....you really don't get it? It's the last sentence of your post that took you over the edge. I thought the rest was nearly spot-on (a tad presumptuous).
Well since we have determined where the frequent flyer miles are going, would it be advisable to,send him to P&R where the shark tank can do a full and clean dismemberment? After all....it is F-Chat and we haven't seen a human sacrifice in quite some time!
First of all, there's no way Barrichello is in the same league as Michael. Everyone knows it. Rubens wasn't a bad driver. He had his moments and beat Michael few times fair and square though he did lack consistency. His market value? I rate him much higher than Kimi + Massa combo of 2007 & 2008. If he had stayed, he would have easily gotten the WDCs that year. So yes, in an essence, he was protecting his name market value, and rightfully should. Don't forget in his era, Ferrari became the greatest.
In 2007 Lewis flat-out blew the Championship and Kimi was the benefactor. Sorry, but that's the reality. So feel free to "what-if" Rubens in his place as it doesn't really mean much.
I have'nt heard from Clarkson in years. I never heard Clarkson take a stand for anything. But now he wants to attack another man for standing for something. If he doesn't talk about Vettel soon, we know its all fake, and he is just using Hamilton to promote himself.
Com'on, Clarkson doesn't need to promote himself. He was world famous before he got himself kicked out of the BBC ànd his own Top Gear programme. He soon realized not having registered 'Top Gear' as his own copyright protected brand was his achilles heel. BBC just went on with the programme, though way less succesful. He does need Elton,...... in no way whatsoever. Who does, actually?
When did Clarkson recently get back in the news? It was when he started talking about Hamilton. Hamilton has a bigger influence than Clarkson. Hamilton has more money than Clarkson. Has more fans than Clarkson. Clarkson is dead compared to Hamilton. Clarkson doesn't stand for anything. Hamilton hasn't even responded to him.
