The fact that you did not go with yellow calipers makes this spec superbly more attractive. Well done.
Took delivery of my 812 GTS a couple of weeks ago. Was able to get some miles on it between storms in Northern California. [ Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Saw this car last night. Pictures don’t do it justice; the verde metallic is just gorgeous. And even the beige on the bonnet works so well with the interior trim.

No, a friend of mine was. He took the photo's for me as he knew it was a car I'd had the opportunity to buy. I decided to go for my own spec after securing a build slot.

I had a good look at this GTS two weeks ago at DL when we took our 812 in for a service. The colour is stunning although I wasn't keen on the bonnet stripe. I also didn't like the interior combo but that's just my personal view.
Dick Lovett's Instagram though, which is not ran by Ferrari HQ. If I had to guess, whoever runs their social just described it as Verde metallic which literally means metallic green. I'd say the brochure (which would have been made by the Tailor Made department) is more reliable then Dick Lovett's post.
Lovett's told me the colour was Verde Scuro Metallic but didn't have a sample to show me. I've been spraying out speed shapes as a way of living with colours for a while before I chose the colour for my GTS order. I started this when restoring my Dinos several years ago using smaller speed shapes and revived the idea last year when ordering my Roma. Seeing the colour panel samples at a dealership is great but this allows you to see the colours under all sorts of different lighting conditions. Sometimes a colour that instantly appeals in a showroom can become less attractive to you with more familiarity and vice versa. This is my current colour "wall" - Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login I did a speed shape in Verde Scuro Metallis 603/C which I'm sure is the colour on this TM car - middle row, 2nd from left. I have a question for you guys ... I keep looking at all these incredible specs and very few have all the exterior carbon fibre options, which is really surprising to me. I figured if you're spending half a mil on custom colors and all the tailor made interiors that exterior carbon fibre trim would be a no brainer ... but it doesn't appear to be the case. I know it's not a penny pinching thing so it's obviously a conscious choice to avoid it even in the highest of specs. Am I reading this right that textured plastic is preferred over cf? Even in the interior I've seen these incredibly expensive leather and custom stitching choices with the basic non cf trim, whereas I'm told that a 458 is worthless without cf interior. It's just interesting to see what's being prioritized in the GTS specs.
The FNA F8 press car had 85k in optional carbon. The black plastic certainly doesn't look as appealing. Hard to say why some don't carbon up!
