Corning Balancing

I was told corner balancing is not necessary for lowering, definitely get a good alignment though. But if you track your 458 and is super anal about suspension etc, then yes you should corner balance it.

 

No required and not needed on a street car. With the Novitec springs just lower front and rear an equal amount, measure ride height from the frame 4 points noted in workshop manual to keep the car rake stock and you are good to go after a full alignment.

 

The stock ride height is in the factory workshop manual and the diagram will show the 4 points to measure ride height from the frame bottom points to a leveled surface.
Measuring from fender bottom to top of wheel rim or center of hub is not the most accurate as mounted fenders could vary from car to car.

 

I have found that corner balancing actually improves comfort on the street. The car feels more planted and at ease when goi g down the road. Dips and other road imperfections cdàsh and upset the car less somehow.

Set it to 42.5 front and 57.5 rear. See if you can get the front within 2-3 kg side to side.
