It was a little impressive, but to quote Winston Wolf in Pulp Fiction, "Well, let's not start sucking each other's dicks quite yet."
They did a super SUPER zoomed-in closeup and it showed the SF defensive guy barely tickling the ball as it came forward still in Wentz's hands.... There is a well-known rule: NEVER bet against Belichick when he is up against a rookie QB. Just go look at what they did to Justin Herbert last season IN LA. And do you remember when Atlanta and New Orleans both were in the NFC WEST? When is the last timeBelichick himself drafted a great skill position player? The best one on the team was undrafted (meyers), their first round pick is all-but cut from the team (n'keal harry).
Well boys, back from LAS and another humiliating Eagles performance. Probably 20,000 Philly fans in the death star. League reported game had highest average ticket price of regular season NFL game at $ 732. Allegiant Stadium is spectacular. Plenty of staff and easy in and out. You gotta plan on how you get to game. Most Uber and taxi drop off at Mandalay, they can't get closer. MGM limos and some other casinos can get you right next to stadium. It's a 45-60 minute walk from T-Mobile, Park MGM area. Plenty of security. We had club seats in section 114, on the Eagles side, 30 yard line. nice comfy chairs, food and beverage service right to your seat. That club level is sponsored by Modelo, and the beer was great. Raider fans were courteous to visitors although we were not in black hole. Stadium is well lighted but not bright, you do not need sunglasses. Entertainment was live and just enough during breaks UNLIKE THE CHARLOTTE / PANTHERS STADIUM THE MOST ANNOYING IN THE WORLD.
Hi Keith! Sounds like a good time, Iggs debacle notwithstanding. Do you know if it's possible to take monorail to Mandalay Bay then walk across (under?!?) interstate to get to Allegiant? T
Wow, think what the ticket prices would have been if the Raiders were playing a good team!!!! (Sorry Keith, couldn't stop myself, but thanks for the review.)
Tom C. No monorail to Mandalay. The short one from Bellagio stops at Park MGM. The other monorail I think goes no farther than MGM although I have not been on it in 10 years. Ubers from Bellagio to Mandalay were $65 to Mandalay Sunday morning Taxis were running, though and that's a $ 12 fare. I had some juice with Bellagio so we had a car drop us off in MGM's reserved spots. MGM luxury boxes out of range for human beings with an ounce of common sense paying their own way. And Paul, there is NO WAY anyone could be harder on the Eagles than their own fans.
Right. But the difference was when the Packers blew it they still had the lead. When the Cards blew it they didn't.
That TD by Cooper Rush at the start of the 3rd quarter was crucial. Got the feeling that without it, game would have gone south for the Boys at that stage. Big effort by the D. T
Las Vegas Raiders WR Henry Ruggs III to Face DUI Charge in Fatal Crash Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs III is facing a driving under the influence (DUI) charge after a vehicle police say he was driving rear-ended another car that burst into flames. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Las Vegas Metro Police investigators work the scene of a fatal crash on Tuesday, November 2. Law officers said Raiders WR Henry Ruggs III is allegedly responsible for the accident. (Image: AP) Las Vegas Metropolitan Police responded to the scene of a two-vehicle accident several miles west of the Strip around 3:40 am local time this morning. Law enforcement believes a Chevrolet Corvette driven by the 22-year-old NFL player crashed into the rear of a Toyota Rav4. Police say the Rav4 caught fire, and the single female passenger in the compact SUV died. That person’s name and age have not been released. Ruggs and his unnamed female passenger were both admitted to an area hospital, but are considered stable. Metro revealed that Ruggs “showed signs of impairment,” and will be charged with felony DUI resulting in death. “We ask everyone to reserve judgment until all the facts are gathered,” Ruggs’ attorneys David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld said in a statement. Chesnoff is known as the go-to defense attorney for high-profile individuals who find themselves at odds with the law in Southern Nevada. Offensive Weapon Needs Defense Ruggs leads the Las Vegas Raiders in receiving yards in 2021. The former Alabama standout has 24 receptions, 469 receiving yards, and two touchdowns through seven games. The Raiders, 5-2, are atop the AFC West. Their strong play through eight weeks of the regular season has shrunk their Super Bowl odds. Before the season kicked off, DraftKings had the Raiders at a distant 66/1 to win the Vince Lombardi Trophy. Today, that line is considerably lower at 50/1. Those odds, however, might need adjusting now that Ruggs is likely done for the year. Nevada law prohibits probation for an individual who has been convicted of a DUI resulting in death. Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson says formal charges will be filed against Ruggs once the police investigation is concluded. A person found guilty of DUI causing death faces a potential prison sentence ranging from two to 20 years. BetMGM reports having considerable action on the Raiders to win the AFC West. The sportsbook says Las Vegas accounts for 44 percent of its tickets and 39 percent of the money wagered on the divisional outcome. Raiders PR Nightmare The Raiders are only in their second year of calling the nation’s casino capital home. And already the NFL franchise has caused a myriad of negative publicity. Ruggs’ arrest comes just three weeks after Jon Gruden resigned as head coach after The New York Times published emails he sent that demonstrated frequent misogynistic and homophobic language. In a statement, the Raiders sent their condolences to the victim’s family. We are devastated by the loss of life and our thoughts and prayers go out to the victim’s family,” a team statement read. “We are in the process of gathering information and will have no further comment at this time.” The Raiders visit the New York Giants on Sunday. Las Vegas is a three-point favorite.
The RJ reports that he was doing 156 in his Corvette, and 127 when the airbags deployed. And he had a lady with him. And he murdered a woman and her dog. Burn in Hell like your victim and her dog.
