Adoro la F40 dei piloti di F1, Tutti What about the story of this car? Sold by Clay? Stay in the family? He used large seats on it ? Looks a museum, Maranello?
Part of the Clay Regazzoni Museum at Autobau in Romanshorn, Switzerland. All of Regazzoni's cars are now there. Official opening was a few weeks ago. Marcel Massini

Not the Regazzoni F40 in pic 1. That F40 is 88112. The Regazzoni F40 is 85594. Two different F40's. And the car in photo 2 with race number 27 is a complete replica of a "330 GTO" and uses S/N 6291. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This is the new "Clay Regazzoni" building at Autobau in Romanshorn, Switzerland. Official unveiling was 16 October 2021. The entire collection is owned by Swiss industrialist and collector Fredy Lienhard (LISTA racing, Ferrari 333 SP), who owns about 120 classic and racing cars (this also includes the newly acquired ex-Regazzoni cars which had previously been in Lugano with Regazzoni's daughter Alessia Regazzoni). Here's an image for all the people who complain that nobody ever drives their F40s, the fact is lot's of owners do, I think this F40 is already over 87,000 kms now. Image Unavailable, Please Login

What would a bare composite panels repaint to Rosso Corsa FER 300/9 and re-trim to red Nomex at Carozzeria Zanasi Maranello cost today, anyone know?
Nice picture. I don t know what to think with black F40. #92540 looks more sexy. This one, looks coming from no where. Monaco ?
Black and dark colours tend to obscure the lines and shadows of the F40. Where as yellow really makes them pop out at you. Plenty of red ones out there, so all tastes covered in reality
Rather than clutter up the 288 thread, I thought it best to post any more pics of the F40 here instead Seems it was registered in the UK at some point, and still is, but clearly not been here for a long time now, looks to just be a track car in Italy these days. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Some unusual, high up angle shots of an F40 spotted by a PHer at the Ring. To me the mirrors look odd but it may just be the way the photos were taken, its not a proto car, given no plexi windows. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I know that Joe, but no proto cars were ever fitted with wind up windows, hence despite the mirrors looking weird to me on this car, they must be production spec rather than one of the many types the proto cars tried out
That’s brilliant!! Joe, How long do you think an F40 engine is good for prior to needing a rebuild? Clearly the Turbos would need some work before 87k May the Horse be with you
