    «Numbers don’t lie » is highly subjective in Motorsport, ( Vettel 13 wins in 2013 etc …)
We can say for sure he is a great driver, no doubt about this.

That’s how schumi got all his season points canceled AND although clearly the best driver in 94, he could have lost it too

Nope, he shouldn't, the FIA was cheating against him in order to give the title to a british driver.

Amazing sportsmanship before his PR machine stopped him from being himself :

    https://www.planetf1.com/news/lewis-hamilton-mexican-gp-reaction-2021/

“But jeez, their pace, it was just unbelievable today, and there was nothing I could do to battle that – and when you’ve got Checo on your tail, then you know the car is quick.”

    Best,
    Sammy

To be fair, he is the world's leading expert on fast cars that flatter otherwise unremarkable drivers.

What's hilarious about that episode, just a few years before it senna announced he would smash into prost if it suites him...he did and senna won the championship that way. FiA couldn't care less.

True, but let's not pretend that the merc had no pace.lewis qualified behind bottas despite bottas giving Lewis tow, bottas taken out on lap 1, who knows what he could've done? I think whst Lewis meant to say is "I've got no pace"

    So true!
Senna would have driven for Ferrari and Prost for McLaren, Ayrton would have been disqualified for sure ..

Yap, that is still the most disgracious action i ever saw in f.1...and they let him get away with it....still ca't understand how Luca didn't take a diferent position at the time...

The FIA penalty applied was unprecedented for "causing a collision" in Jerez

FIA at its best as the driver wasn't British :D

The year before not only Prost purposely crashed on Senna, but also the FIA punished him clearly because of Jean-Marie Balestre wanted to favour Prost. Senna response in the next year was extreme, true, but justice was made.
