Checo was under intense pressure in Q3 and he just blew it IMO.

Haha, no, not that I'm aware of anyway. I was just projecting.

Ham should be careful throwing Bottas under the bus, he might actually need his help in the last four races.

Good point, Horner definitely could have used a better choice of words here. Yuki was the ultimate team player, out there to tow Gasley, literally went off the track to give a clear path for Checo/Ver.

Watched that video so many times, Checo followed Yuki into the side. Very odd to say the least.

I think perez focused too much on what yuki was doing so he simply followed him off track. If anything, perez was the idiot.

I think before the race both horner and Marko made somethjng of an apology about their earlier comments.

Surely Perez just had a split second brain cramp and went off. I'm not a pro driver, but even in an autocross or track day, one bit of indecision and your car is suddenly in the wrong place! On the other hand, if Tsunoda went off track to get off the racing line and let the Red Bulls through, well, I'd have to guess the marshals in that area would have thrown yellow flags, which also would have made both Bulls slow down and ruin their Q1 lap.

This is a good point I didn't think about. Plus the smoke/dust I'm sure doesn't help either.

I'm glad Checo got third on the race though, not a bad consolation!

Was hoping for 2nd, but the Mexicans seemed pleased enough with 3rd already. His dad and son stole the show. Fantastic atmosphere the whole weekend. Well done Mexico.

I do a lot of sim racing and raced quads before, it's amazing how easy it is to get distracted by someone just ahead of you...always have to guess what they're going to do, even if you know they're getting out of the way, it's a distraction.

I can't knock his driving..but his constant need for attention is getting rather old..

  24. I found it so also, long ago. I came up with a solution....I don't seek his antics out and when accidentally coming upon any, I move along.

    Thus, not old anymore......non-existent. ;)
