    I just had a Ferrari sales person tell me one can no longer order Portofino M, that you must buy on used market......I am skeptical of the ethics of this dealership. Anyone have knowledge to prove him right/Wrong???

    Any chance your sales person misunderstood and thought you were asking about the Portofino and not the Portofino M? People who ordered a Portofino M last October when it was announced are just starting to get their cars built so there is no used market available. I placed an order in March 2021 and am guessing it will go into production in March 2022.

    Which dealership? Name? Which country?

    Maybe somebody mixes up an F8 with a Portofino? (F8 can no longer be ordered)

    On 10/18 they cutoff orders for F8, F8 Spider, and 812 GTS. Portofino M, Roma, and 296 GTB are still available to order. SF90 Stradale & Spider are still available to order as well but from what I have heard those will be cutoff sometime before the end of the year potentially by the end of this month. This is for the US market.

    I really appreciate your answer.....Armed with the specifics you provided, I was able to get the general manger to admit that orders can be made and that they had allotments available. I also got a new sales person, so the scumbag I started out with gets cut out of the commission!

    Not sure what his motivation is? And with easily checked information? Odd, really.

    You should buy an interim car from the new sales person and then order another new car, say SF90 just to annoy him……..It works

    You're welcome. Glad to hear it worked out! I don't know what the motivation would be to talk himself out of an order like that but sounds like you're working with a better guy anyways
