lets talk,I'm sure we can make it happen...3 in the back 2 in the front and 4 drugged ones in the boot ..
I've seen some forum members with some big km's on their Ferrari engines, not too sure if anyone has reached 500,000 km's yet though. But those ones I have seen are still on their original engines and drivetrains and this was years ago also I saw those. I'm sure they are still going strong. One thing is for sure but, a V8 Ferrari would be A LOT more exciting to drive than that old rust bucket.
If I paid for your next 355 major service..................would you "cuddle" this guy dressed in this suit in the back of Arvin's Roller....................while Arvin stands outside the car, in his trench coat and glasses staring at you both?
each to there own ,I'd prefer the Silver Cloud 111 on a long trip say of 2,000kms ,the good ones don't rust BTW .
I'll post photos next week which will blow your mind from your area in the early 1960s involving a Rolls-Royce ..
I'll have to STOP putting photos up ,it will put me off selling her . i can see Greg in her driving up and down Collins st.. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Cheers mate, looking forward to it. There have been some old Rollers here over the years I have seen at the car shows, I have posted pics I am sure that would have made you happy back in the day. The most expensive Rolls I have seen here in the Isa, I am sure now I know who the driver looked like.................was a black Rolls Royce Phantom Convertible with VIC plates on it, top down, some older gentlemen driving the car with a beautiful blonde woman 30 years his junior sitting beside him laughing like he just told her stupid Dad joke lol Anyway, it was around the same time Glencore purchased Xstrata some years ago and I think the driver of the Phantom was my new CEO of Glencore Ivan Glasenberg lol.
Looks like some whomo is selling their collection of Roller/Bent stuff, fishing gear and outboard motors: https://online.doningtonauctions.com.au/m/view-auctions/catalog/id/82
