At least Max didn't send Lewis into the wall......[cough] [cough] like Silverstone at a high rate of speed. It was good racing between both of them in T4.
Max chose that tactic and paid when he decided not to do what Charles did and stay left. He crossed over and then was out of the race. Choice. Guess it is ok to render verdict without all evidence one normally views. Masi.............fail lol.
Verstappen: Worn tyres triggered Turn 4 wash out with Hamilton By: Jonathan Noble Nov 15, 2021, 6:29 AM Max Verstappen says worn tyres were the reason why he ran wide at Turn 4 during his defence against Lewis Hamilton in Formula 1’s Brazilian Grand Prix.
In 2019 Ferraris were accused of defying the laws of physics and the rules and were instantly labeled cheats. Here, Merc are assumed to be geniuses where in fact all that moaning about reliability and their engines not lasting was probably just a distraction to go get some “reliability fixes” approved by the FIA that by pure coincidence provided some big power gains.
They are running LH' engine in a higher power mode. They are facing a RedBull who opt not to do that and are more rake and downforce configured than the Mercedes. Aero and power.
I don't think so. Lewis has a new spec engine on steroids. It's running on higher pressures in the combustion chambers. It only lasts 4 races than the usual 6 to 7 races.
+1 Hybridization and supercharging are the path to cheating in terms of engine. A purely atmospheric engine, not only cheaper, also allows a much better control of these grey areas. Unfortunately the politically correct also outweighs the reason here …
Hasn't that always been the case though? If anyone does well, Toto, Lewis, and even some of the media right away begin speculation that something underhanded must be happening. Lewis is somehow able to pass ever single car including the Max like he was standing still... but that's just Lewis overcoming the bias and showing his true grit and determination. I don't know that I've seen a disparity like that in a very very long time.
From what I read with my groggy eyes is that engine reliability issues turns into a more powerful engine than they had all year. CHeeeeters
It is the helmet design (Senna) that Lewis wore this weekend so maybe it is a real video and not some edited/fake one.
It's very clear that: 1) as stated above, Bottas served as a "guinea pig" to test the MB super-engine 2) all this "noise" about Hamilton's rear wing is just a diversion. The FIA wants to show how "just and fair" they are by "punishing" LH for something that - probably - has no effect whatsoever on the car's performance 3) FIA even showed their "righteousness" by not punishing Max for the racing incident in T4, thereby enhancing the appearance that they are "impartial" 4) in the meantime, the REAL issues (i.e. the super-engine and/or the "smart" rear suspension) remain unnoticed by the FIA. It's all scripted: the "otherworldly"* LH HAS to become the World Champion and break Michael's record. Also: MB will not allow to let the titles slip away in the last year of the hybrid era - so they can claim that they dominated it from start to finish. MB own this formula. It's as simple as that. *words of the British press, not mine!
I personally don't like this turbo-hybrid era either. That said, MercedesAMGF1 are always pushing the envelope....ALWAYS!!!! Reminds me of the SkunkWorks back in the 60's thru the 80's--->always pushing stealth aircraft technology--->always 20 years ahead of everyone else. BTW, that special suspension in the rear Mercedes is running......EVERYONE is running some type of rear suspension comparable to Mercedes. Mercedes just took it to another level. Love'em or hate'em, MercedesAMGF1 sets the standard of what an F1 team should be--->never satisfied, always pushing in all areas of an F1 car. Everyone else is just complacent or lacks money or both.
I think it’s also important to read other sources than this forum because litteraly every races that Hamilton won this season some conspiracy arose. I was listening To an interview from gasly this morning, a peer from Hamilton, who, inspite of driving for RB sister team couldn’t help but be genuinely amazed by Hamilton’s performance , will and mental this weekend. Was also reading French comments on l’équipe (French newspaper) which described (their words not me) Max as arrogant and public danger (1,2,3 before silverstone incident is brought up)… Point is: it’s good to live outside this forum sometimes [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
