I have some cabinets and (empty) tool boxes to move from the suburban Miami are to Leesburg Florida. About a 250 mile trip. The load could be easily handled with a pickup truck and trailer, but I personally have neither the time nor vehicle to do it myself. Tried the traditional moving companies, but their model does not support a small load one way very well. Any ideas?

You may want to try some independent car haulers who run with a pickup and one or two car
    trailer.

If they can find a car to bring back south, it may make it worth their while.

PODS? Pretty easy for suburbs. They drop off a big box/garage thing at your driveway and you load it up or hire some people locally to fill it for you if you don't want to. They can store it for you offsite if you don't want it delivered immediately at new place. Friends and family have done this for within city moves and across country with storage literally for years before final delivery.

Thanks! I had thought of that as well, but don't have any contacts. Do you have any recommendations?
