Back it up with prices… u will see what brough the most flying mirror, red on beige/tan. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I don't believe the 1989 with 7,600 miles that just sold on BaT is actual miles, looks more like a 35K+ mile car to me, I have had 3 higher mileage ones with black interior and none had the bolster wear like this one does.
@ChipG the car you just talked about has amazing records from 1990…I have bought 2 cars from Legendary over the years and their descriptions were perfect. I purchased the car today after talking to them at length this morning. I feel very confident that the car is an actual mile car. So, let me know when you want to come down to my warehouse and you can check out the car in person.
Looks like a low mileage car to me. But no one can make an accurate judgement about a car until it is viewed in person. Looks like a nice car to me. Good purchase. I really like the red and black instead of the tan.
I'm not knocking Legendary, I just do not consider this to be 'good records', in no way do they prove the mileage is correct, no way to know if someone unhooked the odometer but I can see these dates and milage on the records: Miles 7,082 on June 25th 2004 so in 17 years your telling me it really only had an additional 518 miles put on it, and you know for a fact (you were with the car the entire time) that those are correct miles? I call BS on the miles with the wear on the seats and undercarriage but I have been wrong before, not one of the black interior cars I had ever looked that worn with double the miles, even triple miles. This is just my personal opinion of course, either way, you did good on the purchase price considering this market right now so congrats on the purchase! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I’d agree with you they have great reputation and splendid inventory! Enjoy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Maybe it was just in storage? Mine was one owner from new and at first the guy used it a bit and then less and less to the point of towing it yearly for each service to and from Ferrari, brakes had even seized and needed to be replaced… so I guess it’s possible! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just to add a funny note to the mileage question on the 7600 mile BAT car I just purchased...I asked about the tire date codes in case I need to get in the queue for new ones...the tires are on the car are from 2008. So I will be be looking for tires and a windshield...any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Also, if there is a better place to inquire about those two items, can the mods point it out to me and I will go there immediately.
I believe it sold, not at that price. It’s a 92, nothing special, only an educated completely high buyer would spent 399k on that…unless it belonged to Michael Jordan or something? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
tr are soon gonna be getting 200k n more 512 tr will be in the 3s both reflecting in great cond.there amazing vehicles and a great driving exprience and 12 cylinders .
Ok I couldn’t stand it so I called. Talked to a salesman named John. Sold for 379k including the major. He said the car was exceptional in every way. Not showing any of the normal wear of the interior. He also said they have sold other 512trs recently for high dollar. I like it
[emoji23] I don’t know many salesman that wouldn’t pump Up their cars Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You guys need to see this: https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/jg21/the-guikas-collection/lots/r0035-1986-ferrari-testarossa/1074496 That's about $323k usd
tr prices have jumped in a large amount as we see and well deserved.we are very fortunate to have bought before the big increase,i bet you wont sell ur tr now for even at 180s ,whats your number for your tr if you sell today
Honestly with the diff, luggage, major, exhaust,9k miles it’s probably worth 180k at the most in this market but I love it so much I can’t see myself selling it aside in a package deal for something even more rare… say a countach maybe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I’ve dealt with many car salesman over the years and know their tactics well. However, he really didn’t have a reason to lie as the car is pending sale. 379k is not that far of a stretch on these cars anyway with the way things are right now. I believe it’s true at this point. I asked him directly if it had sold for 399k and he said no we had to come down to 379k with no hesitation. There’s really no reason to lie at this point. Pumping up a sale at this point serves no real purpose in my opinion.
