    Hi All —

I just installed forged Lusso wheels on my 2013 FF. It occurs to me now that I never swapped out the TPMS from my FF tires and just used what came from the factory for the Lusso. Are these compatible? Or do I have to mount and balance again….

    Thanks!

They should be compatible. Just perform the TPMS reset procedure and the car should find and calibrate the new sensors.

More importantly, please post pictures of your car with the new wheels on :)

    My pleasure! Looking great!

Sometimes the calibrate procedure can take as long as 45 minutes so don’t worry if its not calibrating right away. I was positive I had a bad sensor and the service tech said just keep driving, I did and I stopped looking to see if it came on line, and at a red light I look down after maybe an hour and, there it was all working. He told me sometimes it takes a while.

Yep, Pozzi blue! I was out driving for 2 hrs today and I just can’t get the tpms to work! I did the recalibrate thing a few times and I get a failure after a few minutes. Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks!

I don't know where you are located, but many tire chain stores can test the TPMS.

seems like its either you have low or dead TPMS battery or maybe your FF doesnt want to read the Lusso TPMS signal

Looking on TPMS.com, looks like with the Lusso they changed the part numbers from 282189 to 314818 so that could be why it's not registering? Truthfully no idea though, but figured could be a likely culprit.

Arg, you may be right! I can live with it until she goes back in Jan for the annual warranty renew. Thanks all!
