Exactly. Ordinarily I wouldn't have had much of an issue with it, but given the fact that both the track side electronic signs said ''track clear'' and no lights on dashboard, AND the fact that the drivers had been told the lights had priority in darkness...this penalty is BS.

A marshal could not have been told in time to stop waving the flag (Something I very much assume went on here), so penalties are given because of human error.

F1 never fails to amaze me.

Total BS, from F1.com and the stewards:

Their statement said: "notwithstanding the fact the team argued that the turning off of the yellow sector on the FIA marshalling system some 34 second prior to the driver reaching the yellow flag, signified that it was 'play on', it was the driver’s responsibility to take the appropriate action when entering what was a double yellow flag area.
"The driver acknowledged his awareness of the presence of Car 10 on the right
side of the track. Having seen a disabled car, it is reasonable to expect, as was the case of the driver of Car 55 [Carlos Sainz], that there was a potential danger and that a yellow flag situation probably existed and therefore to take the appropriate action (i.e. to reduce speed)."

If punk lulu gets in the lead they can actually turn the motor down. Bottas could help the anointed one from p5. Max needs his turned up. I won’t be watching anyways.

Thought Bruce used a Traco BOP 215 because it near the 3 litre limit.

    Well done ;) ;).

Hey Gasly, want to possibly get in a RB again? Get in front of LULU on those reds. Okay? No pressure.
    Love Christian.

right decision by the Stewards imo. MV had clear sight of the yellow signals as did Bottas. Take the medicine Mr V, F1 isnt all about YOU

Sainz escaped because he did slow down.

Merc & Red Bull are doing some serious mud slinging, lets hope they trip over themselves and SF can get a win.

looks like LH for the record breaking title

I think you're referring to the World Cup trophy. Yes, that's a beauty.

I have a replica, which I put in front of the TV during the World Cup. :)

Yes, it was the World Cup trophy. Honestly, I thought it was the Qatar GP trophy. I don't really watch soccer/ European football, so I didn't know what it looked like.

Yes, it increasingly looks like Lewis's kamikaze divebomb into the 1st corner at Silverstone will be the deciding factor in this years WDC.
