    The trim kit came with a screen like that but I choose to keep the original. The ring just covers the carpet edges.

    I searched around on F-chat to see if anyone had done this before I did it and couldn't find any post. Wanted to know if there were any problems with doing it. After I did it, I was glad I did, it sounds so much better. I installed a stock radio from an F360 several years back and it had no volume. I thought it needed an amp but once I removed the carpet cover, it has all the volume I need! :)

    A little console adornment. Yeah... I know the ashtray is on backward, but it accommodates my radar detector's plug best this way; )

    I did the Ashtray when I got the car 2 years ago. Uses the same OEM one used on the 328 with teh threaded boss. It lays totally flat and looks factory.

    Wax on, wax off! (Second coat just drying!)

    Took a day to do a good end of season clean. Amazing the amount of road grime that doesn’t come off in a “normal” wash!!

    A little off topic, but here is a good video of Bridgehampton. Of interest to me is John "Buck"Fulp, noted textile magnate who raced for N.A.R.T. and owned a long list of the greatest Ferraris. We had the pleasure to live in the home he built in 1964, a Alfred Browning Parker masterwork. Buck is still living in the Anderson SC area, and still likes fast things. I first met him when I drove my 348c over to his small nondescript family office where the Abney Trust was run. It pulled out some memories, with interesting stories told about his N.A.R.T. racing days.
