I am not the first to do this but wanted to share a recent project.
I made custom rear diffuser extensions for my F355, cut from 1-mil genuine carbon fiber sheet and fastened with black hardware and nylon washers.

I love that it keeps the stock design only more exaggerated.
I know it looks very low in the pictures but it's no lower than the diffuser or side skirts.
    Cost about $100 in materials.

Wondering how practical they would be. I use a single long rubber "chock" to stop my car hitting obstacles at the back of my garage. The standard diffuser clears the chock by millimeters.

I noticed some scuffs on my pumpkin recently.... probably from a high kerb/curb.

Nothing practical about them at all, they just look cool on my garage queen :)

They look ricer to me. To each his own. IMHO all the racer-y stuff is a distraction from the lines of one of the most beautiful cars ever made. It's like putting false eyelashes on a supermodel. Counterproductive.

    To each his own obviously.
Remember, they are already there from the factory, it's not likely your taping random vents on the fenders that you bought at AutoZone.
Diffusers on street cars had just been introduced with a 355, And in the following years, diffusers got huge on every Ferrari, Lamborghini or McLaren, So a slight enhancement to the factory part is tasteful in my opinion, It adds a slightly modern exotic look.
On mine, I like How it makes a straight line in the side profile.

Using your supermodel example, it's like a pushup bra versus a sports bra lol they're already there, just better
