I'll answer that, classic timeless looks, appeal, non fuss mechanicals(relative),they'll never depreciate(unless the shoit REALLY hits the fan) and fantastic in every other colour except rosso. With a 360 you're getting a Hyundai on steroids!!!...................sorry Kim!
It looks great on the move, I had mixed feelings from the still shots, this video shows it to be quite amazing to look at
Convex wheels meant '89 spec, I bought a new 328 in '89 & it had convex wheels, the earlier ones were concave.
Thanks Jon, the 360 is a great car. I do love it. But I’ve also always loved 308’s. It would be cool to have a car I can work on again. I loved mucking around with my GT4. Something to ponder I guess.
I’ve heard of the earlier ones being referred to as 88.5s to differentiate the update in mid 88, but yes, definitely MY89
IMO after the 348/355 they all(the rear engined ones) start to look very samey I'm afraid. Not only Ferrari but pretty much all 'supercars'
Kim I’ve got both and love driving both but they are worlds apart..The 360 is a far better car to drive but I could look at the 308 all day every day…If I were you I would spend the money converting your car to a manual…It can be reversed easily if you ever wanted to go back to original..You would also make money if you resold the manual conversion kit…
Thanks Gary, it's hard not to love the look of a 308. The manual conversion is always an option too!!
I was sitting thinking (yes I know), and I had a funny thought. Well over 50% of the regular posters here actually own 308's. Why is that?
Hmm. Can't get rid of them? Now that you mention it, it occurs to me that none of the regulars here own anything newer than a 360. How odd.
