Yeah.. totally classy.
Happy for you, you know, sometimes, it's more easy to find pieces in England but for us, french, customs and taxes can explode prices..

I haven’t. I’ll weigh em out as soon as I’m done polishing the carbon buckets. 1 down, 1 more to go. But just carrying them around, you can toss the sport seats around a bit and that’s with the sliders still on. If I had to take a guess… roughly 25 lbs savings per seat.
BTW. I noticed the sports seats don’t recline forward at all. It’s 90 degree (L-shape) position and back with the turn knob. The black plastic turn knob is identical to the one on the standard seat.
@INTMD8 how did you remove the turn knob? Do you just pry the circle cavallino piece in the center off first and there’s a hidden bolt or what? These came off a RHD car. I need to switch things around like you did.
It's been a while, I thought there was a wire clip on the backside, removed with small hook tool. I'll take a look tomorrow
Seat #1 polished. Very detailed seat. Best to remove off car to really get in all the tight spots comfortability. There is a leather strip/trim on the backside which acts as a design accent. It is glued on and some sections are coming loose. They used a nasty looking coffee brown glue that seems to have spread carelessly around the trim. It will take time to clean it all up (cleaned on carbon before polishing.) Next step will be to put the seats through the Leatherique restoration process. Once that’s done, I will need a find a trustworthy/skilled trimmer to fix some details on the driver’s seat before installation. Passenger seat is pretty good. Just some loose spots around the rear trim. Seat # 2. Some fairly complicated looking hardware (carbon covers removed). Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks great Fwiw I swapped hardware over between my seats to make the passenger seat the drivers and vice versa. Not that there was much wear on the drivers seat but the passenger was less so I thought swap them to even out over time.
Similar here. These seats can go in as is, but since the car was a rhd, the passenger seat (my driver’s seat) is perfect, so I’d like to keep as is by using it as my passenger seat. I’d prefer to use the more worn driver’s seat as my driver’s seat. * I still haven’t removed the plastic turn knob. The diagram isn’t giving me indication of how to remove. Turn knob is also discontinued, so I’d hate to break it . #15 , #16 Image Unavailable, Please Login

Sorry I forgot to look! One of my cars was rear ended so I’ve been disassembling it for the body shop.
Your sport seats are now worth $80k . https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/market-prices-575-manual-vs-575-f1-conversion-costs-vs-550.629834/page-50
https://www.instagram.com/p/CSxKsQtC8C0/?utm_medium=copy_link Looks like I’ll be meeting up with Justin Placek in about a week for a nice chat . Looking forward to picking his brain about some ideas I have for my seats. He’s one of the best trimmers I’ve found on Instagram. Trust me …I’ve searched extensively. OE quality (or better) craftsmenship. Definitely top 3 in my book. Got a better trimmer? Would love to see their work .
You are correct, I remembered incorrectly. After removing the center you are able to pull the knob off by hand. (The id of the center piece stops the tabs from splaying out on the knob) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
