    Wow. I can’t wait to read the comedy conspiracy theorists on here off loading for days to come…!

    RB rolled the dice and lucked out with the red flag. But this race has a long long way to go and DRS is strong here. This ain’t over. Not even close. And the chances of more safety cars and red flags are very high… exciting stuff!

    Mercedes tried to get cute by having Bottas hold up Max, which meant he really couldn't pit as he'd risk coming out lower than 3rd if other cars in the top 10 didn't pit, then that came back to bite them with the red flag. Just desserts.

    It would’ve dangerous to have to go back out on tires that had hard race laps on them and then cooled down.

    Now given that max didn’t make a stop, and u have to change tyres once, I assume he is fine changing in the pits and not having to pit so long as it’s a different compound?

    Biases and preferences aside the use of red flags in F1 is absurd. There have been more racing red flags this season than in every race from 1990-2010
