**** aye, there you go. Hopefully Canelo now "celebrates" Cinco de Mayo next year by fighting Benavidez. That's the fight everyone wants to see.
The fighters wouldn't fight if there weren't fights offered to them. The current ceaseless demand for PPV events is just getting started. Sport vs. Entertainment. Follow the $$$.
Boxing is a professional sport. PPV changed the game forever. The new sanctioning body is the PPV audience.
It wasn’t a classic fight by any means. I hope Haney comes to Australia to fight Kambosos and I think Kambosos wins this fight and cements his place in history. Kambosos is as tough as they come.
Kambosos needs to move to Las Vegas. Floyd is the newest addition to the belt. Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date Devin Haney On Fighting Kambosos In Australia- “I’ll Go To Jupiter”
Agree that GGG was robbed in the first fight. That was planned. Canelo made a better showing the 2nd fight but it was more even IMO (both took their lumps). The thing is that Canelo really never hurt GGG or handled him. Canelo was better prepared after "losing" to him in the first fight. I still would love to see a 3rd fight. GGG may be aging but he's still a terminator What did you think of the Cruz/Davis fight? Cruz showed up and was relentless but Davis was just a little too slick for him. Looks like Gervonte fractured a bone in his left hand in round 6 after punching down on Cruz's head. Cruz definitely deserves the name "pit bull."
A lot of people I know want to see this fight happen. Better now than ten years from now in the old-timer expo league.
King George Kambosos we are calling him here. He's a good Greek boy and as long as their are plenty of souvlakis in Vegas he will be there for sure.
Definitely! Setup a draw for the first fight because the rematch always makes more money. It was definitely a close fight in the rematch, I reckon Canelo just won that fight, but a lot of my mates still think GGG won. So it could have gone either way. And you are right, Canelo never really hurt or man handled GGG in those fights, but I think he has gotten stronger since then and he probably wouldn't hurt GGG in their trilogy.............but I think he would win more convincingly this time. I just watched the replay of that fight, it was a good fight and Cruz is definitely a little pit bull. The right man won though and that's important. I am looking forward to seeing Davis move onto some bigger fights now.
I just hope Kambosos is "the guy" we saw vs Teo, and that wasn't a case of one and done. I REALLY LIKE him and if he fights like that again and again, He will be tough to beat.
Our little mate Lomachenko is fighting this weekend. I will be watching. Image Unavailable, Please Login
