best product for cleaning/polishing exh tips?

I have used Never Dull with good success in the past to polish chrome/aluminium. But I also had to clean/polish the tips of my former 360 Spider and had great success with Borla Exhaust cleaner and polish. I also purchased a Mothers tapered polishing cone that i used with a drill that allowed easier access between and around the tips. It took me about an hour in total being very careful when using the cone around the body work but the end result was very satisfying.

 

Believe it or not ...... Mr. Clean stain erasers kept wet in a water / car wash soap solution for the initial cleaning.
Followed up with Flitz or Simichrome ...

 

I like using Mettalicut from CarPro with #0000 steel wool for the tips. The muffler shown was actually machine polished but I used Metallicut as well. Image Unavailable, Please Login
